How to Apply

We have one intake each year (up to 20 children into Reception). Children are admitted at the start of the school year in which their fifth birthday falls.

For applications to our Foundation class you must apply through Leicestershire County Council. Applications for entry in Autumn 2025 should be made by 15th January 2025. Applications are welcome from families who live in and out of our catchment area.

Please be aware that a place at the school is not automatic, even if you’re in the catchment area. All parents have to apply for their places via Leicestershire County Council, County Hall. To apply online, please follow the link below (or work your way from www.leicestershire.gov.uk)

In the term before starting school, children are invited to spend some time here to get used to school life.  A meeting and various other induction activities are held for parents and prospective pupils. 

Attendance at any pre-school group does not give entitlement to a school place.
